Yes. Tradier is well known for its developer-friendly trading API, so automated and algorithmic trading on Tradier is very much possible. The catch is that most Tradier algo tools expect you to write the strategy in code and keep a server running. Tradier's API made it a natural home for do-it-yourself algo traders, but code-first platforms come and go (QuantConnect, for example, discontinued its Tradier integration), and maintaining your own bot and server is a job in itself. Your first bot costs $1.10 per trading day, and the per-bot rate drops as you run more. A bot with no open position is charged half, paper bots are always half price, and disabled bots are free. There is no monthly subscription: you pay only for the days your bots actually run.

Yes. Tradier supports authorized connections to your account, which is how Whispertrades places trades for you. You approve the connection at Tradier and can revoke it at any time. Tradier itself does not include a strategy bot, so Whispertrades provides the automation.

No. You can use Tradier's API if you want to, but with Whispertrades there is nothing to program and no server to maintain. You build your strategy as rules in the web builder and the platform runs it.
